Terms & Conditions

Estata is operated by Dinopath (Pty) Ltd ("Dinopath", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa. Last updated: 12 July 2026.

By creating an account or continuing to use the Estata service you agree to these terms. If you do not accept these terms you must not use the service.

1. Who you are contracting with

You are contracting with Dinopath (Pty) Ltd. All references to "Estata", "the service" or "the platform" refer to the software and hosted services made available by Dinopath.

2. Acceptance and authority

By registering, signing in or continuing to use the service you accept these terms. If you are using Estata on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. What the service is

Estata is a software-as-a-service platform that helps landlords, managing agents, tenants, contractors and other property stakeholders manage properties, units, leases, financials and related workflows. Estata does not itself hold tenant funds or act as a bank.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must not share your password.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or abusive purposes;
  • send spam or unsolicited communications through the service;
  • infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with or compromise the security of the service, including introducing malware, probing, scanning, scraping at scale, or attempting to bypass access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the service;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the service without our written consent.

6. Intellectual property

Dinopath and its licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the service, including all software, documentation, branding, trade marks and content we provide. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms and your selected plan.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you upload to Estata (property records, documents, images, tenant information, etc.). You grant Dinopath a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide and improve the service.

8. Payments, subscriptions and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the customer portal linked from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep Estata available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may schedule maintenance and may make changes to features from time to time.

10. Warranties and disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and Dinopath disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dinopath's aggregate liability under or in connection with these terms is capped at the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Dinopath is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify Dinopath against third-party claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part, if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts owed, present a security or fraud risk, or engage in repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use policy. Where practical we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination, after which we may delete it.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
